FAM is a fee-only wealth managment and financial planning firm. Because we do not accept commissions or incentives, you get open and objective advice targeted to your unique situation. It is up to the FAM advisor to determine the level of services needed for a client. Fees, at times, are negotiable and based on the complexity of the plan or project and the range of services provided.
Wealth Management Services
Client fee is a fixed quarterly retainer based on the following schedule:
Investable Assets* under $500,000 = $6,000 Annually
Investable Assets $500,000 and over = $7,000 Annually
$1,000 is charged for each additional $250,000 of Investable Assets over $500,000
FAM’s legacy clients may be receiving the same services but charged based on assets under management ranging from .60% to 1.00% annually.
50% due at the time the Agreement is signed. Ongoing fees will be billed quarterly in arrears.
The fees are based on the value of the Investable Assets at the time of the engagement and may be adjusted at the end of three years and every three years thereafter based on Advisors’ formula at that time.
*Investable Assets are investment assets over which Client has control, such as investment accounts, IRA’s, employer sponsored retirement accounts, stock options, bank accounts, etc. Note: The investable assets may be under FAM’s direct supervision or done on a consulting basis as part of the financial planning element of the Wealth Management Program. Additional fees may be charged for business or real estate analysis.
Financial Planning Services
For clients who require Financial Planning services only, fees generally range from $2,500-$5,000 for the first year. Ongoing fees after the first year will be 60% of the first year fee. The fee is based on the client’s situation and needs. This service is designed for clients who generally have less than $200,000 of investable assets. This service is limited to ongoing financial planning and does not include ongoing investment management services.
