| SCOTT M. KAHAN, CFP® President and Wealth Manager
With close to 30-years of experience, Scott has devoted his career to helping individuals, families and small business owners reach their financial goals. He began his career in 1982 and founded FAM in 1986.
Dedicated to his profession, Scott has committed a substantial amount of his time to play an integral role in the advancement of the financial planning profession. As an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and its predecessor organization the Institute of Certified Financial Planners (ICFP), Scott served on the National Board of Directors from 1997-2001. He has continued his involvement with FPA by chairing a number of FPA's educational conferences as well as serving on the Leadership Development committee. In 2010, he is serving on the Government Relations Committee for FPA of New York. He is also a member of the 2010 Editorial Advisory Board for Practice Management Solutions - a national FPA publication.
Scott's knowledge and experience lead him to educating future financial planners at the financial planning programs of Marymount College, Baruch College and New York University (NYU) - where as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Financial Management at NYU, he was a recipient of the "Award for Teaching Excellence." Companies such as Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of New York have turned to Scott to prepare their ranks of advisors for the CFP® exam. He also has consulted on financial aid and college funding matters on behalf of the College Board.
The media turns to Scott regularly as a credible source to discuss investment and financial planning related issues. His on-air appearances include: Nightline, CNBC, CNN, FOX and ABC Evening News. He has appeared in both print and online for such outlets as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Money Magazine, Time, Business Week, Crain's New York Business, CNNfn.com, and SmartMoney.com. He also contributed to the books So You Want to Be a Financial Planner, Inc. Yourself and The Encyclopedia of Financial Planning.
In his local community of Chappaqua, N.Y., Scott is a resource for continuing education on financial matters. Over the years, he has volunteered his time to teach Financial Planning and Investments for the continuing education department of the Chappaqua, NY, school system and regularly provides seminars for parents on college planning at the local high school. He currently serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund, a fund that makes up "the difference" between the actual costs of college and all other financial resources available to students and their families.
Scott earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the College for Financial Planning and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Syracuse University.

VIKTORIA KAMIN, CFP®
Principal and Wealth Manager
Viki joined the FAM team in 2005, and plays a key role in FAM's client and office management. She advises clients on all aspects of their financial lives through the development and implementation of financial plans. Viki is instrumental in creating, implementing and monitoring investment portfolios. She also leads new employee training.
Prior to joining FAM, Viki was a Personal Banker at Bank of New York and LBS Bank-New York.
Viki earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from New York University (NYU) and graduated from SUNY Albany, with a BS in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance and Marketing. Currently, Viki is studying to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst.
She is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and regularly volunteers for the FPA of New York chapter.
In her spare time, Viki actively volunteers in the community. She served as a Team Leader of the 9/11 Ceremonies for New York Cares and currently is on the volunteer ski safety patrol for Windham Mountain. Viki has completed six NYC Marathons.

| VALERIE ADELMAN, CFP® Financial Planner
Bringing to the firm over 25-years of experience in providing comprehensive financial services to individuals and small businesses, Valerie joined FAM in 2008. As both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and an Enrolled Agent (EA), she brings tax planning services to the team.
In keeping with FAM's commitment to advancing the financial planning profession, Valerie is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and volunteers her time on their national pro bono committee. She also is a former President and Chair of the FPA of New York.
Education within the profession and to the general public has been at the forefront of Valerie's career. She was a member of the faculty at both New York University and Pace University in the area of income tax planning. She serves as a frequent lecturer on financial planning topics and has presented to groups at AARP, the Red Cross and the New York Public Library. Valerie also serves as Chairperson for Girls Incorporated of Westchester County, a nonprofit organization, where she participates in financial literacy programs for mothers and daughters.
Valerie is frequently quoted in the media and asked to speak on radio and television outlets. Some of her appearances include: The New York Times, The New York Post, Business Week and The Daily News, CNBC, Court TV and New York local affiliates for CBS and Fox.
Valerie received a BA in Psychology from SUNY at Binghamton and earned a master's degree as an education specialist from the University of Michigan.

| JULIE COUSER Marketing & Communications Director
Julie joined FAM in 2010 to provide marketing, communications and back-office support. Her responsibilities include managing client communications, Web content, public relations, client events, database management and general office support.
Previously, Julie served as Corporate Relations Director for the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and as Publishing Director for their flagship publication -- the Journal of Financial Planning. In these roles, she was responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing plans to promote FPA's 30,000 financial advisor membership to broker-dealers, wirehouses, clearing firms, custody firms, mutual fund providers, technology and back-office support service providers.
After FPA, Julie moved on to serve as VP, Global Marketing & Communications for Pershing LLC, where she was responsible for advertising, media buying, marketing and audience research across Pershing's three business segments: correspondent/clearing services, RIA services and prime brokerage.
Since 2005, Julie has provided marketing, communication and event services to financial service companies through her company Invest MarCom & Events. Organizations such as InvestmentNews, The Investment Managers & Advisors Alliance (IMAA) and individual advisors with Ameriprise Financial Services are just some of the clients Julie has worked with. She has also provided services on a volunteer basis to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English from Virginia Tech and also participated in the Registered Paraplanner program offered by the College for Financial Planning.

| JEFFERY MOREHOUSE Operations Consultant
Jeffrey has been with FAM since 1999, handling the firms billing and bookkeeping.
Prior to joining FAM, he taught English at several major companies in Japan. Clients included: Honda, Seiko, Nikko Securities, Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Cosmo Oil, Nippon Organon, Fujita, Shell Oil, Marui Department Stores, Tokio Marine, Asahi Bank, Bristol-Myers Squibb and The Export-Import Bank of Japan.
Jeffery attended the conservatory Professional Actors Training Program at Boston University.
